Congressman Stephen Fincher (R-Frog Jump) released the following statement in response to the shooting outside of the United States Capitol this afternoon:

"While we're still learning the specifics, my entire staff is safe and accounted for. We're praying that all Congressional offices can say the same and for those who have been injured."

"I thank the law enforcement officials and first responders who bravely rushed to the scene and contained the situation as quickly as possible."
